At the beginning of the last century, a precarious shelter was built on the river bank, where a farmer dedicated his days to take care of cows, sheep, goats and horses. With the passing of time and following family traditions, this picturesque refuge became the summer resort of the Palma family, chosen by those who today, with all possible comforts, open the gates to share with you this unknown piece of the planet, and accompany you in this unforgettable gaucho adventure.
Casa del Haras
Our loft is located 200 meters from the main lodge and serves as an annex for larger groups. It is a house integrated in a barn, surrounded by a pirca corral that frames a charming garden. It has an en suite room on the first floor, and a quadruple room upstairs, always continuing with the decorative style that characterizes us.
At sunset, we will be waiting for you in the warmth of the house, with the fire burning and a glass of wine or a snack to accompany the moment of relaxation after a day of full outdoor enjoyment.
Kitchen
In Los Chulengos you will find traditional dishes, elaborated with family recipes and fresh and natural raw material. We are characterized by the use of fire and brazas for the preparation of all our dishes.
Many of the vegetables come from our organic garden, and all preparations are homemade by family members. Some of our specialties are meat empanadas baked in a clay oven, roast beef from the best carefully selected beef and trout from our stream made in a variety of recipes.
Desserts are typically Argentinean and are the perfect ending to our meals.

Your reservation is only confirmed upon payment of the deposit equivalent to 50% of the total value of your stay. The balance of the remaining 50% must be paid 10 days before the day of arrival of the passengers. If this payment is not made, the reservation will automatically expire with the consequent loss of 100% of the payment made for the reservation. Once the reservation has been cancelled and the payment has been made, under no circumstances may the value and amount of the invoice be modified for a lower amount. If you wish to make a reservation, please make it as far in advance as possible. Prices are subject to change until the reservation is made. The total amount in Argentine pesos resulting from the final value of your stay, according to the tourist program chosen by you, may be paid in Argentine pesos or its equivalent in Argentine pesos at the previously agreed exchange rate.
The reservation will only be refunded when there is a reliable notice no less than 30 days before the date set for the check-in date. In this case, the total amount paid for the reservation or total payment will be refunded.
Private transfers between Los Chulengos and airport/city and other points can be arranged in advance for an extra charge.
Children up to 2 years old are free of charge. (For safety reasons, they are not allowed to participate in the rides.
Children from 3 to 10 years old have a 30% discount.
Los Chulengos is open all year round.
